The Neosho Valley Busy Bees

The Neosho Valley Busy Bees
The Neosho Valley Busy Bees 4-H Club served French dishes Sunday afternoon at the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum. This is the 42nd year of the International Tasting Tea, which features food and culture from various countries. This year recognized France. The 4-H families made the recipes for the event. Recipes included French bread (VanHouden family), scalloped potatoes with cheese, or Gratin Dauphinois (Carter family), asparagus with Gruyere, or Asperges a la Gruyere (Denison family), burgundy beef stew, or Boeuf Bourguignon (Kmiec family) and apple Charlotte, or Charlotte aux Pommes (Byers family).
