News
11/11/2024 06:10 AM
The Chanute Kiwanis Club had its annual Pancake Day on Saturday at the Masonic Temple, 103 N. Highland. By 9:30 a.m., the Kiwanians had served about 250 customers. CLOCKWISE, FROM THE TOP LEFT: Kiwanis president Gary Maxwell flips specialty pancakes (filled with various goodies). Jace Smith waits for his pancakes to cook. Allison Bloodgood, a Neosho County Community College softball player, served up breakfast sausage and bacon to customers. Kiwanian Rudy Potocnik pours prepared batter into a pitcher so it could eventually be cooked and served to customers.
