Oak Grove School, on 20th Road one half of a mile east of Trego Road, will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Oak Grove was built in 1877 on the Osage Trail and has been listed on the Kansas and National Historic Sites registers. The school has been fully restored on its original site.
There will be scavenger hunts for children to learn about Oak Grove’s history and raffle drawings for free copies of “Little House on the Prairie.”
