Hansen family reunion
The Hansen family reunion will start at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Central Park Pavilion in Chanute.
Lamb is new volunteer
Kim Magner Lamb, who grew up in the Galesburg area, is the newest volunteer for the Galesburg Historical Society Museum.
She shares a passion for the history of Galesburg. She has been helping with museum displays and research, according to a social media post for the society and museum.
The museum also thanked Ron and Kim for donating a curio cabinet. It has been filled with items from the Albert Ball Grocery, which started in 1915 and was located west of the Galesburg State Bank, and items from L.G. “Dutch” Grocery, which was in the stone hall east of the Galesburg State Bank.
