Randy Ward, passed away on September 24, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. Born in Antioch, California on December 24, 1970, he is the son of John and Linda Ward. He graduated from Chanute High in 1989. Over the years, he worked as a cabinet maker and in the oil industry.
He enjoyed classic cars and motorcycles. His passion for photography flourished in the last decade of his life. He often took pictures of landscapes, nature, dirt bike races, and his family and friends.
He is survived by his son Paul Ward (Kelleigh Collins) of Chanute, KS, daughter Lillian Ward (Zane Williams) of Bel Aire, KS, and grandchildren Kynleigh Collins and Harper Collins of Chanute, KS. Survivors also include his parents, his two sisters, Nickole (Ward) Schooley (James Wohl) and Amanda Ward; three nephews, Dagon Schooley, Quinton Schooley (Darby Dillman), and Gavon Wohl; two nieces, Ella Ward and Dannah Ward; one greatniece, Laikyn Schooley; and one great-nephew, Landon Schooley. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Per his wishes, his children will be holding a private memorial service.
