East Central Kansas Model T Club Meeting Approaches

The East Central Kansas Model-T Club (ECKMT) invites all car enthusiasts and the public to their upcoming meeting on Thursday, October 10th, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the conference room of the Burlington Kansas Library, located along Highway 75 in Burlington.

This month’s gathering will begin with a meal, featuring a main entrée and drinks provided by the club. Members and guests are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. The meal will be enjoyed before the meeting begins, creating an opportunity for fellowship and lively conversation about Model T cars, projects, and tours.

The club’s meetings serve as a space to share experiences, exchange information on car projects, and provide updates on various club activities. This month’s agenda will cover topics such as progress on the exhibits at the National Museum, work on the club’s drivers education car, and details about the recent day tour from Waverly to Williamsburg, Ottawa, and Chippewa. Additionally, members will discuss upcoming plans for a day tour with the Model T Ford Club of America. Although owning a Model T is not a requirement for membership, the ECKMT welcomes anyone with an interest in these iconic vehicles. Meetings are open to the public, and visitors are encouraged to attend, whether they are long-time enthusiasts or new to the world of Model T cars. For those seeking additional information or with any questions, please contact Bud Redding at 785-733-2124.
