IOLA — Facing rival Allen on the road, the No. 7 Neosho County Panthers played the Red Devils to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday in KJCCC men’s soccer action.
Callum Niven netted the Panthers’ goal six minutes into the match off an assist from Zak ElHannach.
Allen’s goal came in the 72nd minute with Calum Murphy putting a ball between the posts, with the assist coming from Javaine Lindsay.
The draw put Neosho County’s record at 5-1-2 overall 2-0-1 in KJCCC play.
Neosho County is on an unbeaten streak that dates back to a 3-1 loss to No. 1 Iowa Lakes on Sept. 1.
