No. 16 Neosho County posts fourth straight shutout

IOLA — Improving its shutout streak to four matches, the No. 16 Neosho County Panthers posted a dominating, 5-nil, victory over rival Allen on Wednesday in KJCCC women’s soccer action.

Reigning NJCAA All-American Olivia Gibson netted two goals while Charlotte Taylor, Mia Ferioli and Elyse Thornton chipped in one apiece.

Neosho County has won four matches in a row, with goalkeeper Bristel Entwistle posting shutouts in all four matches.

The Panthers now sit 6-2 overall and 3-1 in KJCCC play.

Up next

The Panthers host Hesston on Saturday in another conference match.
