Step Back in Time at Fall River State Park’s Historical Rendezvous This Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors to Fall River State Park’s Fredonia Bay Area will have the opportunity to step into the past as living historians recreate a vibrant rendezvous scene from the early 1800s. The event will highlight a time when mountain men and American Indians gathered to trade their furs for essential supplies to endure the winter.
The day will feature engaging historical demonstrations, including a black powder shoot and a tomahawk throw, offering a glimpse into the daily life and survival skills of the era. Guests of all ages can immerse themselves in the history of 1800 to 1840, learning about the trades, tools, and traditions of early America.
