Maggie Hood
Maggie Hood competed in Dodge City, Kansas July 31- Aug 3rd 2024 for the title of Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas 2025 .
Maggie, along with two other contestants, competed for the title of Teen in the categories of Horsemanship, Appearance, Personality and Knowledge.
Maggie was crowned Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas 2025 and made her first appearance in title at the Saturday night performance of the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo. In addition to the crown, she also took home the coveted Horsemanship and Appearance awards.
Maggie Hood is the daughter of Victor and Janalin Hood of Chanute, KS. She is a homeschooled high school senior and is a member and competitive breakaway roper in the Kansas High School Rodeo Association. She also is the proud owner behind The Painted Pony Photography.
In the future, she plans on furthering her education by obtaining a marketing degree while competing in college rodeo as a NIRA member. Maggie has a God-lit fire to promote the western lifestyle and rich rodeo heritage of those who came before her.
As Miss Teen Rodeo Kansas 2025, she is honored to travel the state of Kansas promoting the greatest sport on dirt, while encouraging others to “Be the Light.”
