The Neosho Valley Busy Bees met at 7 p.m. on April 14, at the Central Park Pavillion. The roll call question was “what’s your favorite cereal?” There were 28 members and no guests present. Cali Courter gave a parliamentarian demonstration on how to properly make a motion. She led the club in practicing making motions to decide which treats to add to create a snack mix for the club to share.

Rylan Carter and Kate Uhner did a demonstration on how to make a lava lamp. The demonstration was followed by leader reports. Club members were reminded about important upcoming dates for fair project meetings and livestock weigh in. Also, members were reminded to sign up to bring baked goods and help with a club booth at Safari Family Fun Day on April 26.

Happy Birthday was sung to those with April birthdays. Members also played a game and finished the meeting with a snack.
