Members of the High Prairie Pioneers 4-H Club participated in the Wilson County Club Days held Feb. 15 at the North Lawn Elementary in Neodesha. Those receiving Top Blue were eligible to represent Wilson County at Regional Club Days held at Neosho County Community College in Chanute on Feb. 22.
The club and its members earned the following placings at County Club Days: Model Meeting – High Prairie Pioneers, Top Blue. Junior Demonstrations/ Illustrated Talks – Timbrel Francis, Top Blue; Cheyanne Gloshen, Top Blue; Sienna Drumm-Williams, Blue Second Alternate. Intermediate Demonstrations/ Illustrated Talks – Tinselle Francis, Top Blue; Oliver Bilby, Blue First Alternate; Loren & Locklynn Vest, Blue. Senior Public Speaking – Tatum Francis, Top Blue. Project Talks – Tracen Francis, Top Blue; Delanie Stich, Blue Third Alternate; Danton Stich, Blue; Henry Crawshaw, Blue; Dawson Stich, Blue; Gage Gloshen, Blue; Sapherya Kuhn, White. 4-Hers from nine counties competed at the regional that consisted of Wildcat Extension District (Crawford, Labette, Montgomery and Wilson), Southwind Extension District (Allen, Bourbon, Neosho and Woodson) and Cherokee County.
