The Chanute Public Library will bring its second annual Puzzle Tournament to the community, which will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.. Saturday, March 15, at the Central Park Pavilion, 101 S. Forest Ave. This family-friendly event brings the community together for competition in speed puzzling.
Thanks to a donation through Ravensburger’s Library Sponsorship Program, participants will have the opportunity to test their puzzling skills as they race to complete a 300-piece puzzle, with each team receiving a tournament puzzle to take home as a keepsake.
“Last year’s Puzzle Tournament was such a great event,” said Chanelle Gontarz, outreach and adult services librarian. “It was amazing to see families, friends and puzzle lovers of all ages come together for a friendly competition. We’re so grateful to Ravensburger for donating puzzles to us this year, and for the continued community support we receive. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year for another exciting tournament!”
This event is open to all ages, but each team must have an adult team captain. Those interested in participating should sign up by calling 620-431-3820 or visiting the Chanute Public Library. Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
