The Neosho Community College Board of Trustees plan on meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in the Student Union on campus in Chanute. If the campus is closed on Wednesday because of the weather, the meeting will take place on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Benefit breakfast

ST. PAUL — Knights of Columbus Council 760 – St. Paul-Walnut-Erie — is hosting a benefit breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, at St. Francis Parish Hall, First and Lafayette in St. Paul.

The menu includes sausage, eggs, hotcakes, biscuits and gravy, and an opportunity for a friendly round-table visit. Cost is a free-will donation and proceeds will be directed to Jill Coomes who had a dangerous reaction to chemotherapy for colon cancer.

Sunflower Quilters to meet

The next meeting of the Sunflower Quilters Guild will be Monday, Feb. 24, at the Humboldt United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 806 N. Ninth, Humboldt. The board meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. followed by the guild meeting at 10 a.m.
