CANEY — Falling to 0-2 on the season, the Erie Red Devils fell to the Caney Valley Bullpups, 48-6, in Week 2 action on Friday night in a showdown between Tri-Valley League foes.
Caney Valley hung 22 points up in the first quarter then 20 more in the second en route to the win.
Erie’s lone score came in the second period on a nine-yard pass from Jaden Daniels to Seth Welch.
Caney Valley improved to 1-1 with the win.
