Knights benefit breakfast is Sunday in St. Paul
ST. PAUL — Knights of Columbus, Council 760, St. Paul-Walnut-Erie, is hosting a benefit breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, at St. Francis Parish Hall, First and Lafayette in St. Paul. The menu will be sausage, eggs, hotcakes and biscuits and gravy. The cost is a free-will donation and proceeds from this breakfast will help with medical and travel expenses for a rural Walnut-Erie woman, Emma Mason, who was seriously injured in an automobile accident on Nov. 27 on K-146.
Chanute council donates $770
The Chanute Knights of Columbus, Council 1046, continues to show its support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities served by Tri-Valley Developmental Services. Tri-Valley provides services such as residential, vocational, life enrichmen, and horticultural therapy to individuals with I/DD residing in Allen, Bourbon, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson counties.
Council 1046 donated $770.17 to Tri-Valley for money raised during the 2024 Tootsie Roll drive. This donation will help support services and actively assist neighbors with I/DD in their pursuit for community inclusion.
