Dec. 31 Cattle theft report; 10th Road and Ford Road, Thayer. Twenty-three black calves were reported to have been stolen the evening of Dec. 31 through the morning of Jan. 1. Calves should have a purple ear tag and a brand on the back leg of the letter M with a circle around it. The case is still under investigation.
