Frank John Ostrosky Jr., 49, a longtime resident of Fredonia, currently residing in Bartlesville, Okla., died Thursday, Sept.30, 2010 at his home. He was born Dec. 4, 1960 in Fredonia, the son of Frank John and Betty Groshong Ostrosky. John was a 1978 graduate of Fredonia High School and received additional education in trade school.

On Feb. 4, 1978 in Fredonia, he was joined in marriage to Cindy Ferguson. She survives, at their home in Bartlesville.

He was currently employed at Cessna Aircraft in Independence and previously had been employed at Cobalt Boats in Neodesha and at Gran Villas in Fredonia.

He is also survived by three sons, Izzy Ferguson, Broken Arrow, Okla., Dusty Ostrosky, Fredonia, Josh Ostrosky, Bartlesville, Okla.; a daughter, Amanda Ostrosky, Bartlesville, Okla.; two brothers, Jerry Kukovich, Fredonia, Terry Kukovich, Fredonia; and six grandchilden.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct, 5 at the Cornerstone Christian Church. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation at Timmons Funeral Home will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m., where the family will receive friends 6 to 7. A memorial has been established in John’s name with the Cornerstone Christian Church and contributions may be left or mailed to the funeral home, PO Box 168, Fredonia, KS, 66736.
