Cleo Pauline Uden, 78, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010 in Chanute.
Cleo was born on Nov. 5, 1931, in Fredonia, the daughter of Orrin and Bessie Milner Wescott. She graduated from Fredonia High School.
She was united in marriage to Delbert Dee Uden on June 4, 1954. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2004.
After her retirement as an office assistant, she was a dedicated Red Cross volunteer at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center and the Bloodmobile.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Cleo is survived by her children, Dirk Uden, Dawna Myers, and Doug Uden, all of Chanute; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, George Wescott; and friend, Herb Washburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Delbert, sisters, Gladys and Verna Mae, and a brother Howard.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at the First United Methodist Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Colfax Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.
Memorials in her name may be made to the First United Methodist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
