Daniel E. Mosler, 58, Afton, Okla., died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at St John’s Regional Medical Center.

Danny was born Aug. 23, 1952 in Parsons, the son of Jack E. and Wilma Raetz Mosler. He graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1971. He worked for Ash Grove Cement in Chanute, and drove a truck for Ruan Transportation Co. and several other companies in the area.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Mosler, Chanute, and Jennifer Tasche, Shawnee; a grandson; his mother, Wilma Mosler. Grove, Okla.; two sisters, Jacqueline Caywood, Columbus, and Lori Shrylock, Augusta; two brothers, Dennis Mosler, Owasso, Okla., and Douglas Mosler, of Grove, Okla.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 at the Murdock Funeral Home, Oswego. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery south of Oswego.

Visitation will be 6-8 this evening. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery south of Oswego.

Memorials may be made to grandson “William Phillip Howard” to be used as an educational fund and may be left with the Murdock Funeral Home 203 Illinois, Oswego, KS 67356.
