Ann McKnight, 66, Parsons, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 at Labette Health in Parsons.

She was born on June 28, 1944 at Pauls Valley, Okla., to James and Hester Mead Clark. She attended Labette County Community High School.

She and John McKnight were married on Oct. 2, 1961 in Parsons. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 2003.

She was a homemaker and devoted her life to care for her daughter, Tammy McKnight.

Her survivors include her two daughters, Tammy McKnight, of the home, Missy Schoenhofer, rural Parsons; two grandsons; three brothers, Bruce Mead, Denison, Texas, Howard Mead, Grovespring, Mo., James Mead, Grovespring, Mo.; one sister, Shirley Chase Parsons.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Springhill Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 Friday evening.
