Kandi Lee Thouvenell Sprague, 28, Salina, was pronounced dead Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 when her body was discovered in rural Saline County. She was born in Marion on June 9, 1982, to Jerry Thouvenell and Anna Dennis. She was a 2000 Hillsboro High School graduate.
She is survived by her young children, Lily, 7, Rose, 5, and Daisy, 4, father Jerry Thouvenell and wife, Sheila, Marion; mother Anna Christmas and husband, Eric, Chanute; brother Jessy Thouvenell, Marion; step-siblings: Cody, Chris, and Cassandra McPhail, all of Marion, Adam Christmas and Melissa Crawshaw, both of Chanute; grandparents Dorothy Thouvenell, Hillsboro, and David Leppke, Humboldt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. at Marion Christian Church. The Kandi Thouvenell-Sprague Memorial Fund has been established in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St, Marion, KS, 66861.
