Danny Ray Samples, 61, White City, former Chanute resident, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, July 22, 2010.
He retired from Case New Holland Manufacturing Plant after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie, of of the home, daughter Tina West Wilmore, son Sean West, all of White City. He was preceded in death by a son Patrick Samples in 2003.
A memorial cremation service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 31 at Parkerville Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to White City Centennial Park and may be mailed to the Central National Bank of White City, P.O. Box 158, White City, KS 66872.
Penwell-Gabel Council Grove is in charge of arrangements.
