Florence Elizabeth Johnson, 95, died Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka.

Florence was born August 23, 1914 at Dry Creek in Quincy, the daughter of Melvin Hegg and Florence Amy Burr McCoin.

She grew up and attended school in Toronto.

On March 6, 1964 Florence was united in marriage to Allen Johnson. He preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1995 and she moved from Grove, Okla., back to Toronto.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Toronto until its closing when she then attended the United Methodist Church of Toronto.

She is survived by one cousin, Claude Burr, Toronto.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 8 at the Toronto Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Toronto United Methodist Church and sent in care of Campbell Funeral Home, P.O. Box 188, Yates Center, KS 66783.
