Gloria Sue Adkins, 66, retired from Reality Executives, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

She was born in Chanute and a former resident.

Gloria enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandkids and playing bridge. She was a member of Harvest Community Church.

Survivors are a son, Kevin, Mayfield; a daughter, Heather Devereaux and husband, David, Wichita; her mother, Florine Cleaver; a brother Robert Byers and wife, Linda, Wichita; sister Peggy VanWinkle and husband, Oscar, Neosho, Mo.; grandchildren Delaney Adkins, Victoria Devereaux, Logan Devereaux and Colton Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 2001 and father, Floyd Byers.

Viewing is noon to 8 p.m. today with family receiving 6 to 7 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, June 18 at the chapel. She is now at peace and cancer free. Memorias are suggested to Victory In The Valley. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenmortuary-cemetery.com,
