Neama Marie Douglas, 93, Iola, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Allen County Hospital.
She was born on June 2, 1917 in rural Neodesha, the daughter of George and Nellie Johnson Ball.
She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1934.
Neama was united in marriage to Charles Douglas on Sept. 2, 1934.
She was a pastor’s wife.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen and Stanley Douglas, both of Iola; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Parkview Holiness Church. Funeral service will 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19 at the church.
Committal services will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Independence, with burial to follow.
Memorials in her name may be made to Independence Bible School and may be left with the funeral home.
