Brian Kent Stanfield, 49, Yates Center, died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at his home.

He was born Sept. 2, 1959, in Eureka to Val Gene and Mildred Leon Hull Stanfield. He graduated from Eureka High School in 1977.

He married Glenda Kay Upchurch on Aug. 19, 1978, in Vivian, La. She survives.

He and his wife owned and operated S & H Properties, Yates Center.

Other survivors include his mother, Mildred Stanfield, Eureka; a daughter, Minna Bolt, Parsons; a brother, Kim Stanfield, Houston, Texas; a sister, Koleen Laney, El Dorado; and two grandchildren.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center. Burial will follow at Yates Center Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
