Charles P. “Chuck” Varsolona, 66, Galesburg, died Sunday, November 9, 2008, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village, St. Paul.

He was born June 19, 1942, in Arma to Frank and Lucille Vezzetti Varsolona. He graduated from the Arma high school in 1960 and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Pittsburg State University.

He was employed with Griffith Enterprises in Cottonwood before retiring to Galesburg.

He was a member of the Galesburg United Methodist Church.

He married Jeryl L. Brown on July 30, 1966, in Tucson, Ariz. She survives.

He is also survived by a brother, Robert Varsolona, Galesburg.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Galesburg United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Parsons.
