Diana Lynn Pitt, 58, Yates Center, died Friday, November 7, 2008, at University of Kansas Medical Center.

She was born June 4, 1950, in Junction City, Ore., to Edgar L. and Mary E. Acridge Pitt.

She graduated from high school in Wichita and was employed in the food service industry.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Yates Center.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Pitt, Yates Center; a daughter, Jane Elizabeth Pitt, Yates Center; a brother, Kevin Spunaugle, Yates Center; two adopted brothers, Edward L. Pellett, Memphis, Tenn., and Edgar L. Pitt Jr., Burlington; and an adopted sister, Teresa Allen, Fort Scott.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Yates Center. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center.

Contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
