Richard Almus Davis, 71, of St. Paul, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Girard Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 18, 1941, in Bolivar, Mo., to Jess Harrison and Nellie May Craft Davis. He resided at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center from 1970 through 1977. He then lived at Hardtner, the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center, Living Skills and most recently Connections in St. Paul.

Survivors include a brother, Merle Davis, Chanute; five sisters, Neomi Turner, Chanute, Betty Craft, Iola, Jane Pease, Iola, Linda Harris, Quapaw, Okla., Melba Hutchins, Joplin, Mo.; and a host of friends

Funeral will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 10 at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Moran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m., until service time on Thursday.
