Bradley William “Brad” Haviland, 61, of St. Paul, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
He was born Dec. 12, 1951 at Neodesha, a son of William and Lorene Schoonover Haviland. He was raised at Neodesha and Edna and attended Parsons schools. After completing high school he enlisted in the United States Navy at age 17. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War. After he retired from service he moved to St. Paul.
He was united in marriage to Helen Jane Lindsey on April 12, 1975. She survives, of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Bradley William Haviland, Jr., Waverly Hall, Ga.; a daughter, Christie Collins, Walnut; a son in-law, Donnie Collins, Walnut; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, John Haviland, Coffeyville; two sisters, Kathy Eden, Neosho, Mo., Debra Rosenberg, Weir.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Lynn and Travis John Haviland.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28 at the Hope Cemetery at St. Paul. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. this evening at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home at St. Paul.
