Norma J. McMurray, 79, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born May 26, 1933 in Walnut to Orin Alvin and Ettta Louise Burger Baugh.

On Jan. 22, 1955 she married Norman D. McMurray at Walnut. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2009.

She retired as an RN from the Wheat State Manor in Whitewater.

Survivors include her daughter Connie Marts, Topeka; sons David McMurray, McPherson, Richard McMurray, Wichita, Jeff McMurray, Salt Lake City, Utah, Glen McMurray, Hutchinson; brother Howard baugh, Fredonia; sisters Betty Ann Coester, Chanute, Virginia Myers, Krum, Texas; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Sharon Romero.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, Newton. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday. The family will receive friends prior to the service.

Burial will be in Canton Township Cemetery, rural Canton.
