Gary Brill, 71, of Chanute, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Heritage Health Care Center in Chanute.

Gary was born in Patterson, N.J., on March 7, 1941, the son of Harold and Novella Logan Brill. He graduated from East High School in Wichita.

Gary married Delores Martinez in 1969. She preceded him in death in 1996.

He enjoyed music and playing his harmonica.

Gary is survived by his children, Rochelle Carona and her husband, Don, of Prairieville, La., Stephen Brill of Pittsburg, Pa., Robert Brill of Chanute, Daniel Brill of Chanute, Candace Brill of Lawrence, Michael Brill of Chanute, and Melissa Brill of Prairieville, La.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janette Lawa.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
