Barbara Phillips, 54, Altoona, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Fredonia Regional Medical Center.

Barbara was born in Leakey, Texas on July 11, 1957, the daughter of Hugh Nathan Routh and Marida Mitchell. She married Steve Phillips on Oct. 16, 1974 in Ludington, Mich.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Steve Phillips, Altoona; two children, Rebecca Phillips, Chanute, and Morgan Phillips, Altoona; one granddaughter; six siblings, Pat Brock, Miami, Okla., Georgia Larson, Hesperia, Mich., Nathan Ruth, Freemont, Mich., Jack Ruth, Altoona, Carol Ruth, Detroit, Mich., and Brenda Treijo, Grand Rapids, Mich.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
