After a lengthy illness, Jessie “Ilene” Roles, 76, died Saturday, June 2 at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Rogers Roles, of the home; three children, David Roles, Chanute, Richard Roles, of the home, and Julie Roles-Holroyd, of the home; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Roxie Britt Treat.

The family will be having an open house to celebrate her life on Saturday, June 9, at the family home, 23065 Pratt Road, Erie. They will receive friends from noon to 6 p.m. and encourage all who knew her to join in the celebration.

Donations may be made to the Jolly Go-Getters 4-H Club.

Roles will be cremated and her ashes spread on the family homeplace with a memorial stone to be placed in the Odense Cemetery in the family plot.
