Philip Louis Rush, 70, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 ay Sand Springs, Okla.

He was born Dec. 26, 1941 in Chanute to Louis Allen and Juanita Marie Jones Rush.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a boiler room technician. He was affiliated with the Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and barbecuing.

Survivors include children, Angela Crisp and husband, Robert, Claremore, Okla., Russell Rush and wife, Dawn, Olathe, Gail Rush, Independence, Danny Fisher and wife, Marsha, Chanute, Herbie Reed, Chanute, Shelley Rush, Lawrence; grandchildren, Rachael, Shay, Hunter, Ericks, Anneieve, Hayden, Brooke, Shelbie, Tyler, Kyrie, Madison, and Samuel; great-grandchild, Aubrey; brother, Gary Vest, Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Rush, and his parents.
