Kenneth Lynn Berry, 53, Sherman, Texas, was called home Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
He was born September 10, 1955, in Martiney, Calif., to Sharon Berry and Darrel Nichols.
He married Mary Ann Hockersmith on Dec. 1, 1989, in Valley Center. She survives.
He loved to fish, work on leather, antique cars and woodworking. Kenneth also loved spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Daniel Berry, Sherman, Texas, Jeremiah and Pamela Berry, Muskogee, Okla., Billy and Susan Berry, Denison, Texas, and Bret Bellina, USAF, Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan; a daughter and son-in-law, Lorissa and Matt Brunk, Denver, Colo.; his mother and step-father, Sharon and Dave Roseberry, Chanute; a brother, David Roseberry, Chanute; his grandmother, Letha Berry, Chanute; six grandchildren, Chautzie Ward, Oklahoma City, Okla., Kamron Bassett, Thrishtian Bailey and RaeLynn Berry, all of Muskogee, Okla., and Zachary and Joseph Berry, both of Denison, Texas; a great-grandchild, Mahayla War, Oklahoma City, Okla., and many other relatives and close friends.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Life Point Church, 400 South Abilene, Valley Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison.
