Mildred Lucille Walker, 94, Yates Center, died Monday, January 19, 2009, at Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.
She was born March 18, 1914, in Canton, S.D., to Harrison and Lillian Goodale Shaff.
She married Clarence Walker on Aug. 14, 1937, in Yates Center. He died Aug. 1, 1988.
She and her husband farmed.
She was a member of the Turkey Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Everett Walker, Humboldt; a daughter, Evelyn Hunt, Yates Center; four grandchildren; a step-great-granddaughter and a step-great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Walker; two sisters, Ethel Dasso and Jean Bedell; and a brother, Howard Shaff.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Yates Center Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
