Bobbie Reger, 78, rural Fredonia, died Friday, January 9, 2009, at Fredonia Regional Hospital.

She was born March 5, 1930, in Benedict to Robert and Madge O’Brien Prunty. She graduated from Benedict High School.

She retired from Beechcraft-Raytheon in Wichita, where she was a parts distributor for 17 years.

She married Frank Boyle in 1946. He died in 1972. In 1975, she married Joe Bob Reger. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Steven W. and Thomas E. Boyle, both of Wichita; two stepchildren, Linda Throckmorton, Arlington, Texas, and Larry J. Reger, Augusta; two sisters, Delores Palmer and Sharon Sandbothe, both of Fredonia; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Eloise Culbertson; and three sons, Michael K. Patrick and James David Boyle.

Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. today at the Weakley Cemetery near New Albany under the direction of Timmons Funeral Home, Fredonia.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon today.
