Dorothy V. Fuhlhage, 92, Fredonia, died Thursday, January 8, 2009, at her home.

She was born March 5, 1916, in Chanute to Albert E. and Ora Etta Kirby Ewing. She graduated from Coyville High School and Independence Community Junior College.

She was most recently employed as a personal assistant to Bill Hollis.

In November 1940 she married Robert K. “Kenny” Fuhlhage in Appleton, Mo. He died Nov. 5, 1970.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fredonia.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Dee Ann Voth, Fredonia, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert E. “Bob” Fuhlhage.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Timmons Funeral Home, Fredonia. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery north of Fredonia.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
