Max Steven Brown, 56, Chanute, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Harry Hynes Hospice at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 18 at the First Christian Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel.

A full obituary will follow.

Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
