Melinda was born in Memphis, Texas on May 3, 1950, the daughter of Roy and Nita Trapp Dick. She graduated from Bonham High School in Texas.
She worked as a caregiver.
Melinda is survived by a son, Michael Hasler, Chanute; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials in her name may be made to the family and may be left with the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, in charge of arrangements.
