Treva L. King Harvey, 97, formerly of Buffalo, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Guest Home Estates in Chanute. Treva was born on Sept. 6, 1913 near Latham, to Orval and Sophia Winn King. Treva attended rural elementary schools and graduated from Latham High School in 1932.

On March 2, 1937 Treva married Carl Harvey in El Dorado. They moved to Buffalo in 1940. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1994.

Treva managed the Buffalo Locker Plant for many years.

Treva is survived by a daughter, Caryl Barnaby, Longton; sons Carl Harvey, Little River, Lenny Harvey, Benedict; son-in-Law, Joe Dorn, Temple, Texas; daughter-in-Law, Cindy Harvey, Salina; sister, Leona Kluthe, Springfield, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Darlene, son Larry, and a grandson.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 4 at the Buffalo United Methodist Church. Burial to follow at the Buffalo Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia.
