She attended school at Tipton through one year of high school.
On Feb. 21, 1944 she married Edward Wagner. In 1959 they moved from Tipton to Mankato.
Her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Mankato.
She is survived by her children, Marvin Wagner, Mankato, Lucille Kohn, Mankato, Darrell Wagner, Mankato, Janet Letterman, Chanute, Roger Wagner, Burlington; two sisters, Agatha Corbett, Chapman, and Veronica Slothower, Osborne; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration Mass was Monday, Feb. 28 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. The family suggests memorials in Loretta’s name be given to Solomon Valley Hospice, Beloit, KS.
Melby Mortuary, Mankato, was in charge of arrangements.
