Lloyd was born in Chanute on Sept. 24, 1947, the son of Ralph Warren and Marie Fulps Bockover. He attended schools in Humboldt.
He worked as a car mechanic.
He was called grandfather by many and loved drag racing, fishing and playing pool.
Lloyd is survived by two sons, Travis Bockover and his wife, Erika, and Tyler Bockover, all of Chanute; a daughter, Marjey Bockover and her fiance, Darryl Rickett, Chanute; three granddaughters, Renee Bockover, Miranda Bockover, and Madison Bockover, all of Chanute; brothers and sisters, Kathy Mikola, Kansas City, David Bockover and his wife, Peggy, West Covina, Calif., Danny Bockover and his wife, Rochelle, Pittsburg, Lyle Bockover and his wife, Debbie, Olathe, Kevin Bockover and his wife, Shelia, Humboldt, Kelly Bockover, Kansas City, and Alicia Schomaker and her husband, Tom, Humboldt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, twin brother Floyd Bockover and Darrell Bockover.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
