Rusty Wellman, 44, Humboldt, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011.

Rusty was born in Charleston, S.C., on Sept. 8, 1966, the son of Kenneth and Nadine Allen Pergeson.

He was united in marriage to Rebecca Hughes on May 25, 1995 in Butler, Mo. She survives, of the home.

Rusty worked as a production supervisor for Tramec.

Along with his wife, Rebecca, he is survived by his parents; two daughters, Jessica Butler, Chanute, and Kristy Hughes, Salina; four grandsons, William Hughes, Westin Hughes and Wyatt Hughes, all of Humboldt, and Brody Butler, Chanute; three brothers, Teddy Wellman, Emporia, James Wellman, Cherryvale, and Kenny Pergeson, Jr., Elsmore; and two sisters, Linda Rasby, Iola, and Bonnie Fangman, Eudora, Mo.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Cox.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 12, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel in Humboldt.
