Arleta Fay Myers, 67, a 15-year resident of Fredonia, formerly of Fort Worth, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1943 in Humboldt, the daughter of Jack and Nadine Wrestler Lamons. She was a homemaker, as well as working at Wayside Mobile Homes in Saginaw, Texas and apartment manager in Fort Worth, Texas.

On July 8, 1959, Arleta was united in marriage to Jerry Oscar Myers.

In addition to her husband, Jerry, she is survived by five children, Jerry Myers, Jr., Fredonia, Troy Myers, Fredonia, Laura Reyes, Reno, Texas, Keith Myers, Fredonia, Kary Spigelmyer, Reno, Texas; two brothers, Gary Lamons, Shasta, Calif., Jay Lamons, Erie; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Wayne Myers.

Arleta requested cremation. A private family memorial service will be held.
