Donna Carole Holinsworth, 59, Humboldt, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010.
Donna was born March 11, 1951, at Fort Scott, the daughter of Harlan B. and Bessie Revona Odam Stokes. She grew up in the LaHarpe area.
On March 25, 1995, Donna married H.E. Holinsworth in Humboldt where they made their home. She has worked at Everbrite Electronics in Chanute for the past 11 years.
She loved to spend time with her grandkids, crocheting afghans for her family, playing cards, cooking for her family, shopping and traveling.
Survivors include her Husband, H.E. Holinsworth, of the home; three daughters, Sheila Sigg, Iola, Shelly Brown and husband, Mike, Iola, and Ashley Reno and husband, A.J., rural Humboldt; two stepchildren, Cindy Holinsworth, Humboldt, and Steve Holinsworth, Joplin, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Shannon, Garret, Dakota, Reghan, Lauren, Paige, Liza, Livey, Jaylynn and Jayli; one great-granddaughter, Blayke Leighann; four brothers, Eddie, Archie and Delbert Stokes, all of LaHarpe, and Willis Stokes, Herrington; twos sisters, Lois Mix, Columbia Station, Ohio, and Linda Cole, Nevada, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, great grandparents and a brother, Harvey Stokes.
Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Humboldt United Methodist Church.
Inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt at a later date.
Visitation is 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
