Fred E. Weston, 56, Kansas City, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City. He was born Dec. 5, 1941 in Yates Center to Oscar and Eloyce Bishop Weston.

He was a 1971 graduate of Altoona-Midway High School.

He worked as a floral designer at Steve’s Floral, Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include his father, Jim McAdams, Buffalo; his wife, Janet Weston, Kansas City, Mo.; children Eric Weston and Danika Matters, Kansas City; granddaughter Terra Faith Matters, Kansas City; partner Kevin Welch, Kansas City; brother Bill Weston and wife, Mina, Buffalo; sister Beverly Ruse and husband, Randy, Humboldt; nephew Adam Weston, Topeka; niece Ashlee Cummings and husband, Brian, Bartlesville; and great-niece, Raylee Cummings, Bartlesville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eloyce McAdams, sister Nola Weston and grandparents Fred and Nola Bishop and Lillie McAdams.
