JJ Davis, the first-year head coach of the NCCC Lady Panthers, is overseeing several basketball camps designed to help local young people improve their game. His first camp of the season is next week, June 17-19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the gymnasium at the Chanute Recreation Center. A proposal to split up Class 4A into two divisions has passed, according to a press release issued by the Kansas State High School Activities Association on Tuesday.
